Gemotions

The old film projector whirred and clicked, casting flickering images on the wall. They had watched the footage a hundred times, but tonight, the familiar scenes felt alien and distorted. The shared memory, once so clear, had fractured.

He watched Mark, a man he had known his entire life, but who was now a stranger. The evidence of the past was there, tangible and undeniable, but it didn't align with his recollection. He felt a deep unease, a sensation of vertigo.
